Quebec government sued for buying Microsoft software

Once again I’m impressed with Linux and Open Source. I needed a PDF doc. Now if I was using Windoze I would have had to go out and buy Adobe writer at “How much?” Or go scrabbling around for a free alternative then install it.
Enter OOO(Open Office Org). Just fire up Open Office Writer, create the document, export is as a PDF. Job done. The hyper links to web pages work as well which is more than I can say for the free alternatives for Windozes.
Beautifully simple.
